- At least 60 years old (optional retirement) or 65 years old (mandatory)
- Separated from employment or ceased to be self-employed
- Have paid at least 120 monthly contributions prior to the semester of retirement
Spluxly’s free online SSS Pension Calculator is a retirement planning tool designed specifically for members of the Social Security System (SSS) in the Philippines who want to estimate their monthly pension benefits before reaching retirement age. The SSS pension is one of the most important financial entitlements available to Filipino workers, providing a regular monthly income after retirement based on the member’s average monthly salary and years of contribution. To use the calculator, enter your Average Monthly Salary Credit (AMSC) — the average monthly salary used as the basis for your contributions — your Credited Years of Service (CYS), which represents your total years of SSS membership with paid contributions (minimum 10 years or 120 monthly contributions required), and your expected retirement date. The calculator applies the official SSS pension formula, enforces the applicable minimum pension amounts based on CYS bracket, and instantly returns your estimated monthly pension, 13th month pension, and annual pension, along with your formatted retirement date. Completely free, no registration required, and accessible on any device.

Estimating your SSS retirement pension takes just a few seconds. Follow these simple steps:

- Click Calculate Pension – The calculator applies the official SSS pension formula, checks minimum pension thresholds, and instantly generates your pension estimate
- Review Your Results – See your estimated Monthly Pension (e.g., ₱10,300.00), 13th Month Pension (e.g., ₱10,300.00), Annual Pension (e.g., ₱134,900.00), and your formatted Retirement Date
- Note the Disclaimer – Results are estimates based on the standard SSS formula; actual pension amounts may vary due to additional benefits, policy updates, or individual contribution history
How the SSS Pension Is Calculated
The SSS Pension Calculator uses the official Social Security System pension formula applied by the Philippine SSS for retirement benefit computation.
The Official SSS Pension Formula:
Monthly Pension = ₱300 + (20% of AMSC) + (2% of AMSC × [CYS − 10])
Where:
- ₱300 = Fixed base amount added to every pension
- AMSC = Average Monthly Salary Credit (the member’s average monthly salary basis)
- CYS = Credited Years of Service (total years of paid SSS membership)
- The 2% per year increment applies only to years of service beyond the first 10
Example: AMSC = ₱20,000 | CYS = 25 years Monthly Pension = ₱300 + (20% × ₱20,000) + (2% × ₱20,000 × [25 − 10]) = ₱300 + ₱4,000 + (₱400 × 15) = ₱300 + ₱4,000 + ₱6,000 = ₱10,300.00 per month
Minimum Pension Thresholds: The SSS enforces minimum monthly pension floors based on the member’s CYS bracket. If the formula result falls below the applicable minimum, the minimum amount is applied instead:
- Less than 10 CYS → ₱1,200 minimum monthly pension
- 10 to 20 CYS → ₱2,400 minimum monthly pension
- More than 20 CYS → ₱3,200 minimum monthly pension
13th Month Pension: The 13th month pension is equal to one full monthly pension amount, paid as an additional benefit once per year (equivalent to one monthly pension payment).
Annual Pension: Annual Pension = (Monthly Pension × 12) + 13th Month Pension = (Monthly Pension × 13)
Example: ₱10,300.00 × 13 = ₱134,900.00 per year

- Contribution Requirement – Must have paid a minimum of 120 monthly contributions (10 credited years of service) prior to the semester of retirement
